A journal of my adventures in learning and growing personally and professionally
This ought to be a
fun five weeks. This course is 'Critical Thinking' and the teacher is a "feeler" type who thinks emotion is an important aspect of critical thinking. I don't exactly agree with that in general because for most, when you insert emotion into the picture it tends to bias your decision making.
On top of that, there are at least two religious "nuts" who are agressively close minded about discussing any ideas related to religion which will be tons of fun since the author of the text book has picked some religious and moral beliefs, that are questionable at best when examined closely, to use as some thought points to encourage critical thinking on them. Time to pull out the cattle prods ;)
